Music & Rights

To use copyrighted music for our film, we needed to ask permission from the companies that own it. If we couldn't get permission, we'd need to use copyright-free music instead. The piece of music we initially wanted to use was called 'Afraid' by The Neighbourhood and was owned by Sony Music and, thus, we had to email them for permission. We weren't surprised to find that they didn't reply and, thus, we decided to use the music anyway but while still crediting them. This way, we're using the music we want to use while they're still getting the recognition they're meant to get.
